logiccloud among the most forward-looking startups in Baden-Württemberg

Already second award for developers of the logiccloud PLC cloud platform

At the CyberOne Hightech Award Baden-Württemberg, logiccloud was once again honored as one of the most innovative young companies in the state. Since 1998, the award has honored the most forward-looking business concepts of technology-oriented start-ups. Prizes are awarded to concepts with a pronounced degree of innovation that have the potential to set new standards and revolutionize markets.

With its innovative all-in-one PLC cloud platform, logiccloud reached second place as a finalist in the Industrial Technologies category. The award was presented at the Hightech Summit on 10.11.2022 by the BW Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut. In July of this year, logiccloud had already been awarded the Gründerpreis Baden-Württemberg. “The renewed award reflects the great interest in the potential of the cloud for industrial applications. But it is also proof that Baden-Württemberg’s unique start-up landscape offers ideal conditions for innovative spirit and entrepreneurship in one of Europe’s most important industrial locations,” says Bernhard Böhrer, co-founder and CEO of logiccloud AG.

With its solution, logiccloud replaces hardware controls in machines, production lines, logistics facilities or intelligent buildings with hardware-independent control from the cloud. For this purpose, existing PLC architectures can be used as well as low-cost edge devices. Programming, monitoring and visualization are also cloud-based. This enables considerable cost savings, optimized operating processes and an improvement in the CO2 balance, because work can be carried out from anywhere without and on-site work can be completely eliminated.

The decoupling of hardware and control intelligence results in new applications, revenue potential and business areas for companies in all sectors, such as the manufacturing and process industry, energy and water management, logistics or the real estate industry.
